TELE-LAW: MAINSTREAMING LEGAL AID THROUGH COMMON SERVICES CENTRES

Hon’ble Union Law Minister, Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad launched the pilot project of Tele Law Programme on 6th June, 2017 at High Court Auditorium Allahabad, High Court, Lucknow Bench, U.P. in the august presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Executive Chairman, NALSA, Hon’ble Chief Minister, UP, Yogi Adityanath, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dilip B. Bhosale, Chief Justice, Allahabad High Court and Patron-in-Chief, UP SLSA and  Hon’ble Mr. Justice ArunTandon, Judge, Allahabad High Court and Executive Chairman, UP SLSA

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra delivered the keynote address on this occasion.

The Tele Law connects panel lawyers of UP SLSA to people in search of legal advice in the remotest corners – anywhere through video conferencing.  The common people can go to Common Service Centres and avail the services of panel lawyers of UP SLSA through video conferencing. This e-interaction between panel lawyers and people is though the video-conferencing infrastructure available at the CSCs.

The UP SLSA has deputed the PLVs at the 500 CSCs to assist the people to get them connected with the panel lawyers of UP SLSA.
